I am a soft pastel artist who recently closed my Café, located in the heart of Sarasota, which I owned and operated successfully for over a decade and which was warmly cherished as a charming and vibrant part of the wider Sarasota community.

A contemporary painter impassioned and inspired from the photographs I take of nature while traveling locally and throughout Florida, I strive to infuse my art with the life, color and energy that is unique to the Florida aqua landscape.

With a profound love for art and an avid collector of paintings since early childhood, I now devote myself to my joyous passion for painting. Being fortunate to live so near many of the beautiful waterscapes of Florida and feeling deeply connected to nature, I specialize in and am inspired by both the crystal-clear freshwater springs scattered across Florida and the greens and blues of the expansive and mighty Gulf of Mexico.

Simone is truly an unbelievably talented artist. My sister first hired her to paint a wedding scene as a gift for her friends, and the couple absolutely loved it, it was stunning. So naturally, when my own friends got married, I knew exactly who to go to. They had gotten engaged during a hot air ballon ride in Turkey, and although I didn't have a photo of the exact moment, I sent Simone a few reference pictures I found along with photos of the couple. She somehow captured the entire essence of that moment so magically, it felt like she had been there with them.
